Speaker: Cassie Gilmore, SHRM-SCP

                   Kansas SHRM Apprenticeship Navigator 

Cassie is a seasoned HR professional with nearly 20 years of experience. She is known for her innovative thinking, her empathetic style, and her ability to build relationships. Over the course of Cassie’s career, she has worked in multiple industries including retail grocery, higher education, corporate wellness, manufacturing and logistics. Cassie is a Human Resources Business Partner for IMA supporting Kansas City, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.  A longtime member of SHRM, Cassie serves as the Kansas SHRM Apprenticeship Navigator and Co-Chair of the Kansas SHRM Conference Speaker Committee. 

Cassie holds an MLA from Baker University, specializing in Conflict Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Kansas. Cassie is a Certified Executive Level SHRM Professional and has earned the SHRM-SCP and SHRM-CP designations.  

Outside of work, Cassie is known for being a doting mom, for her love of travel, and her passion for community service. In 2023, she was named Queen of the Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade in recognition for her fundraising efforts on behalf of local children’s charities.
